Refund & Returns Policy

Dottie and Oscar

At Dottie and Oscar, we want you to love every purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

1. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns on full-priced items within 14 days of delivery (online orders only), provided that:

  • Items are unused, unworn, and unwashed

  • All original tags are attached

  • Items are in original packaging

  • Proof of purchase is provided (receipt or order confirmation)

Items that do not meet these conditions may not be eligible for refund or exchange.


2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Hair accessories and headwear

  • Socks, tights, and underwear

  • Swimwear (if hygiene seal has been removed)

  • Personalized or custom-made items

  • Gift cards

  • Sale or clearance items (unless faulty)


3. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at:

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (for online orders)

We will offer a replacement or full refund in accordance with consumer law.


4. Online Returns Process

To return an online order:

  1. Email us at dottieandoscar@gmail.com with your order number.

  2. Wait for return approval and instructions.

  3. Securely package the item and send it to the address provided.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked service, as Dottie and Oscar cannot be responsible for lost return parcels.


5. In-Store Purchases

Items purchased in store may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase, provided they are returned in person with valid proof of purchase.

Please note, we do not offer refunds on in-store purchases — exchanges only.

To be eligible for an exchange, items must:

  • Be unused, unworn, and unwashed

  • Have all original tags attached

  • Be returned in their original packaging

  • Be accompanied by a valid receipt or proof of purchase

We reserve the right to decline exchanges that do not meet these conditions.



6. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days

  • Funds will be returned to your original payment method

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the item is faulty)

You will receive confirmation once your refund has been processed.


7. Exchanges

We are happy to offer exchanges for size or item (subject to stock availability) within 14 days, provided the item meets return conditions.


8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

  • Check with your bank or payment provider

  • Allow additional processing time
